Urban scale beach front reform & Fisher folk community.
Throughout history, people have settled on coastal to take advantage of the amenities the oceans offer. As a result the worlds natural coastal environment have been substantially modified to suit human needs.
#Fish market - The market facility is a semi enclosed space put up in the location where it is accessible for both local and tourist people, place is functional designed where the System is fish landing, preliminary separation and selling had been retained and with a self sustaining facilities renders a more comfortable and clean space for both the vendors and customers.
The towering structures would shade the market from intense sunshine and rainwater would drain off the surface of the oversized petals and be channelled into underground storage tanks so it could be reused. The structure is designed such as the channel is also separated for fish processing waste which is collected on the ground floor level.
#Community Space - Pulicat is the platform that would create a public space that could be used by the fisherfolk community as well as the general public. The plaza building consists of a museum that showcases the craft of fishery, rich sea food restaurant and information centre that would provide a platform for school children of the locality to visit and understand the methods of fishing.
The interior of the plaza connects with the centre courtyard to merge with outdoor space.

#Fisherman's housing - The design will provide a solution For water level rise structure will contain all service lines and green technologies. to which structural component of eight amphibious houses will be attached. By separating the services, the amphibious houses were designed lightly to achieve buoyancy.
